Those numbers mean you should get to your doctor YESTERDAY!!! That is very high, weight loss is considerable and the nasty thirst is indicator of diabetes rampaging your system.
MAKE THE APPOINTMENT AT YOUR SOONEST CONVENIENCE or get to the Critical Care Unit at the hospital.

im a diabetic. and if your sugar level is that high you had better be on some type of insulin. ur getting very close to "diabetic coma". your average blood sugar level should be between 80-120. so go see ur doctor. he can also explain what the numbers mean in better detail.

If this is really true you need to IMMEDIATELY get to a doctor or hospital. Your blood sugar is severely out of control, and you risk going into a coma. You will likely need insulin injections, if not an IV to begin an infusion with careful hourly monitoring. It's SO important to get these numbers down to a more normal range (for the sake of argument here I'm going to say) below 200.
Left untreated - or treated minimally - you risk destroying your organs. Kidneys, eyes, your nervous system. Please trust what I'm saying here. If you have an HMO for healthcare be really strong (verbally), and get your family to help you get help NOW.

The number tell how much sugar is in your blood. NORMALLY, there should be 80-120. YOU ARE SERIOUSLY ILL. The 30-pound weight loss is VERY disturbing -- this is the LAST stage of diabetes, just before you spend time in the hospital. You are probably in Ketoacidosis, which can be FATAL.
YOU need to get to your doctor NOW. If your numbers are this high all the time, then you have already seriously damaged your kidney, heart, eyes, and brain. If you do not go to the doctor NOW, you WILL suffer much pain very soon. Heart attacks and stroke are waiting for you, along with blindness, kidney failure, inability to have sex, and Alzheimer's Disease.
GO TO THE DOCTOR. Shut off your computer, and make the phone call. get an appointment for MONDAY afternoon, if possible.
DO NOT HESITATE! Your life depends on it.

Depends on if that sugar is your fasting sugar. It's best to test your blood glucose levels first thing in the morning before you have anything to eat or drink.
If that is your fasting sugar then go see a doctor now, your sugar is too high. Normal fasting ranges from 80-120. If that is just after you ate (especially a high sugar/carb meal) then it is probably normal.
But if you also have polyuria and weight loss I would see the doctor anyway as those are classic signs of diabetes.
