Weight loss in relation to type 2 diabetes? Is losing weight through diabetes a bad thing? Can anyone please help me how to treat it, and if left untreated, what can happen?
My aunt has lost nearly three kilos over the past week, and I keep telling her it's not good for her, but she won't listen to me! (She's overweight by the way, so I guess she's pretty happy that she's finally losing some weight..)
Help? Thanks in advance!

The weight loss is a catch-22. It's good to loose the weight to control glucose levels.
However, the reason for current weight lost is the glucose level are so high that the body is not getting nutrition and is consuming itself. While this is happening the high glucose level are causing damage to major organs of the body.
She is gambling like I did. I was lucky and recovered well. Visit my blog site and read my story.

weight less is a good thing and if she actually exercised to loose that weght then there is no problem or if she dieted also there is no problem as she is doing some thing about it. but if she has dont nothing to loose the weight then just keep an eye on her to see how much she loosers inthe next 3 weeks. and if she is still loosing that sort of weight then id some how talk her into seeing her doctor. good luck.
